"Who needs a doula?! You better snag Nikita, she's the best! I didn't even know I needed a doula before she worked with us for Cora's birth. She changed our entire experience for the better. And we felt so taken care of and safe."

"Nikita is exceptional. We were so lucky to have her as our doula for our home birth. The care and support I experienced while I was pregnant put me at ease. She helped me as a whole person - for my pregnancy, my thoughts and worries, my experiences living in a new community as a transplant, and a mom of a toddler with few friends. We met for playdates, she introduced me to other moms (whom I'm still friends with!) and made a huge difference in my life. She is not just loved and appreciated by her clients, but she has rave reviews and strong referrals from midwives and other birth workers in the community. Nikita is an ambidextrous doula --- she can meet you and your family where you are at. If you want a hospital birth and all modern medical supports, she is skilled and thoughtful with how she shows up in that environment. If you prefer a home birth with no interventions and want to explore birth options from many cultures, she is great for that too. Nikita has a magic about her, she just knows how to make you feel better, feel supported and she's just so relatable to so many types of people. Say yes to Nikita before her calendar fills up!"

"If you are considering hiring Nikita, please take my advice... HIRE HER. I found out I was pregnant very early and hired Nikita immediately and from the moment we met I knew this woman was special. She is kind, understanding, funny, and also the friend that is going to stand up and advocate for you. During my pregnancy I had many questions being a first time mom, and she always responded promptly easing my mind or giving me the resources to make an evidence based decision. I wanted an unmedicated hospital birth with very minimal interventions, which can be difficult in the hospital setting. Nikita met with my husband and I multiple times during my pregnancy to ensure our birth plan was exactly how we envisioned it while also educating us on common hospital practices/interventions that we may see, breastfeeding resources, and even postpartum expectations! When we arrived at the hospital, she went over my birth plan with the providers initially but also ensured that they were following my plan during the process. I am so grateful for Nikita and the calming presence she brought to my birth. I could not have had the birthing experience I did if it wasn't for Nikita. I had extremely painful back labor and Nikita did not stop, from the moment I went into labor to the second my daughter was born, to alleviate that pain whether it be changing my position, counter pressure, accupressure, hip mobility exercises, or hydrotherapy. I can proudly say, I gave birth unmedicated to a beautiful baby girl at the hospital with Nikita by my side! Even postpartum, she has been a resource and friend that I can lean on. I can't say enough positive things about this beautiful woman! My husband and I will be hiring Nikita for every pregnancy in the future."

"I couldn’t be more thankful to have had Nikita as my doula. My first birth was traumatic for me so I knew going into my second, I would need a doula. Throughout my pregnancy, she was there to answer any questions and helped me find ways to ease my anxiety regarding birth. My labor came fast and hard. I did not plan on having an unmedicated birth but thankfully with Nikita by my side, I was able to get thru it."

"Nikita is a pleasure to work with. She is very sweet, knowledgeable, and supportive. She spent as much time as we needed in the prenatal visits answering our questions and concerns. Having a doula was just as big a benefit to my husband as it was to me. She showed him that he too could be an integral part of the birth process in terms of emotional and physical support (unlike the stereotypical dad sitting in the hospital waiting room). I would say having a doula is a must if you want to do a natural birth, but even if you do have an epidural like I did, it is extremely helpful. She was providing me with just as much physical support as the nurses for my three hours of pushing and she had a few tricks up her sleeve to help me with nausea. It was a good investment- especially if you’re a first time parent. "
